Graham was born on September 7, 1938 and passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2021 in his 84th year. Beloved husband, brother and uncle. Graham was predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce, siblings Annie, Sam and Billy. Survived by sisters Sarah, Edna, Evelyn and brother Eric. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Graham was a retired jockey and trainer who rode his first winner on “Coronia” in Wolverhampton on April 19, 1955 at the age of 16. Graham immigrated to Canada and continued to ride, then train and breed Thoroughbred race horses. He loved all animals and they knew it. Graham was never without a pocketful of mints for his horses and biscuits for his dogs. He was an avid gardener, a reader and a history buff. Graham is now reunited with his loving wife Joyce and all their beloved animal
A tree will be planted in memory of Cecil in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
