Suddenly on October 23, 2022 in her 86th year. Leaves behind son Ken (Nancy), daughter Teresa (Gunter), grandchildren Eric (Sanjana), Jennifer (Mike), Katelyn (Cory), and Nathan (Amanda), sisters Doreen Tachauer (deceased), June Turnbull and Joyce Cooke. Her Air Canada career started in 1967 as a teletype operator before becoming a passenger agent when the teletype function was phased out. She had many friends and colleagues until her retirement in the early '90's. Her world travels were extensive having visited in some form all seven of the continents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Canada or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research.
A tree will be planted in memory of Carol in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
