Gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Pastor Donald Fitchett and the late Vance Pound. Dear mom of Steve, Dan (Pamela), James (Wendy) and Peter. Cherished grandmother of Brentt (Olga), Stefan (Kelly), Sarah, Grace, Nicole, Danielle, David (Hanna), Graeme (Amanda), Mollie and Jackson. Dearest great-grandmother of Remi, Ryker, Mya, Eva, Lauren and Maddex. Sister to John (Debbie), Barbara- Deceased (Ellsworth), Charion (Morris-deceased) and Susan (Ron). Carol will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday November 23, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 24th, 2023 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to Gideons International or the Light House would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Carol in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
