Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Marjorie McKillican (nee Lather) (Dec. 23, 2017). Dear father of Boyd (Mary) and Andy. Cherished grandfather of Alexander. Predeceased by his brother Donald, Doug, Ken and his sister Joyce. Bernie will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street., Orangeville, Ontario on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Mono.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bernie in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The next annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
