Slater, Arthur John "Wayne"
Passed away at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 81. "Ruthie" his loving wife of 58 yrs. and his devoted son Randy were painfully by his side while he struggled to breathe. He will be greatly missed by his two grandsons Austin and Emerson. He will be remembered by his sister Beverly Brooks (Graham) and his brother Bob Slater (Susan). He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Louise Slater.
Wayne has chosen to be cremated so that he will remain at home the way his family would like it.
A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 20th Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
