Print
Davidson, Ann Malcolm (nee Macfarlane)
Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, August 24, 2018, four days after her 77th birthday.
The loss of her warm, loving and vibrant personality will leave an emptiness in the lives of many. She will live on in the shared memories and the impact she had on all the lives she touched.
Ann was the loving and supportive Mum to Ian and Scott Davidson; dearest sister to Kathleen and Alastair Macfarlane and sister-in-law to David and Christine Davidson; aunt to Sandy, Angus, Murray, Andrew, Jean-Paul and Michelle. Ann was a vibrant and active friend to so many in the community. She was predeceased by her husband John Davidson.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 From 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow at Monora Park Pavilion, 500 Monora Park Dr., Mono from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.
The family would be grateful if you could share some of your favorite memories, pictures or thoughts to celebrate her wonderful life. These will be collected in person at the visitation, reception or via email to rememberinganndavidson@gmail.com.
A memory book will be shared at www.rememberinganndavidson.ca.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to be made in her name to a cause that is a suitable memory to you of who she was and what she cared for, which may include: Headwaters Health Care Foundation (Friendship Gardens or Highest Priority Equipment Fund), Palgrave Rotary Club or to a worth charity in the realm of international development and aid.

A tree will be planted in memory of Ann in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
