Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Gillian Brown (2018). Dear father of Sallie and Carolyn and the late David and Matthew. Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Jordan and Caleb. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie Segna and his sister-in-law Davina. Alan will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. RSVP IS REQUIRED - Face coverings must be worn at all times while in the building.
A Private Family Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Orangeville.
Memorial donations in memory of Alan may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society - St. Timothy Conference (Cheques or cash only and made through the funeral home) would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Alan in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
