Dawkins, Merleen Mildred (nee McCutcheon)
Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Dawkins (1993). Dear mother of Judy Dawkins (2015), Deborah Fessey and Beverly Dawkins. Cherished grandmother of Darren (1971), Drew (Becca), Louise (Nolan) and John (Heather). Dearest great-grandmother of Caleb and Brooke. Merleen will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to High Country United Church or Dufferin Oaks Activation Program would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Merleen and Gordon in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
