Obituary for Adam Andrew Francis Sura

Sura, Adam Andrew Francis
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wonderful and very loved Adam the day after his 28th birthday. Adam was a talented, hard working arborist who was struck by a tree while working to remove debris from the road during the extreme heavy wind storm of Friday, May 4, 2018.
Adam graduated from the Humber College Arborist program and achieved his International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification. He loved everything to do with trees and was very fortunate to have found his passion.

Adam was a talented musician, an avid snowboarder and a well rounded athlete. He was a gentle soul with a heart of gold who spread and shared love with everyone whose path he crossed.
Adam was loved and will be greatly missed, especially by his proud parents. His mother Debbie Wickham, his father Allan Sura and wife Susan Huntley, grandmothers, Faye Sura (the late Andy Sura) and Enid Wickham (the late Frank Wickham), Aunts and Uncles, Diane and Jim Houlahan, Nancy and Michel Cardinal, Jennifer and Al Dewling, Bev and Brian Coxford, Marty and Nina Wickham and by all his cousins, Bryher and Arlyn Houlahan, Jennifer Dewling, Mathieu Cardinal, Rishka and Scott Wickham, Hannah Krutow and by his many great friends who were like family to Adam.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:30 p.m.
Memorial donations to Canadian Tire JumpStart, 2180 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4P 2V9 or the Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Adam in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
