A Life of Giving

I just wanted to send my own thoughts, having worked alongside Sheila for 6 years at Roberta Place.  I was the chaplain at Roberta Place at that time and every Thursday I would come in to visit with the residents and sometimes lead services in the activity room.  I loved talking to Sheila, whose office I shared (with Anita also) when I was there for the day.  Sheila and I would always have wonderful visits while we worked--we talked about our work with the residents but also about our own lives.  I heard her stories about her family and saw pictures of her granddaughters on her calendar, heard about her Sparks group for Girl Guides' and was always interested to hear about all the other wonderful activities she got up to.  Sheila filled her days with giving to others, which is how I will remember her--with a big smile, working with volunters of all ages, and caring for people from all walks of life.   My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
