After so many years apart I had the good fortune to start to reconnect with Steve last year. These all too brief times spent together will always be precious to me. We were looking forward to more but it was not to be. My thoughts these last few days have been dominated by the many moments we shared and with sympathy the family and friends he has left behind.
You were a real GEM Steve! Good night.
