Mounce, Cecil J. (Sonny)
After a lengthy, futile battle with Lewy-Body Dementia, Sonny passed away at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Joan for 63 years. Father of Wendy, Laurie (Mike) and Randy. Best Gumps in the world to 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Clara and Cecil and his only sister, June. Sonny was the second generation to own and operate C.M. Mounce Plumbing & Heating Ltd. on Avenue Road in North York. He was widely respected in that field. He and Joan lived for over 40 years in the Town of Mono. He looked forward to their winter vacations in Florida, renewing old friendships and getting away from the cold weather he so disliked. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please hug your loved ones. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, February 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
Interment at Boston Mills Cemetery in the Spring.
