Peacefully with family by his side at Wellington Terrace on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Joyce Dexter (2016). Dear father of Cheryll Dexter Collins and her husband Jeff Collins and John David Dexter and his wife Joti Dexter. Cherished grandfather of Cougar Dexter Collins, Indigo Key Collins, Shawna Kira Dexter and Andrew David Dexter. Survived by his siblings Jill Franklyn and Vicki MacDonald. Robert will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. If desired Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
