Obituary for Andrew (Andy) George Gillespie

Peacefully at his home in Orangeville Ontario on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 62. Dear father of Stephanie Gillespie (Brian Speck), Heather Gillespie (Matthew Douglas) and Samantha Gillespie (Soren Dick). Cherished grandfather of Devonte, Serena, Naomi and Skylar and soon to arrive Serenity. Loving brother of Dave (Laura) and Vicki Hardie (Stuart). Predeceased by his parents Robert and Patricia. Andy will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Andy's Life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Memorial donations to the Crohns & Colitis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of (Andy) in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
