Kirchberger, Dorothea Maria (nee Hoffmann)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Erich Kirchberger. Dear mother of Simone Currie (Michael) and Peter (Terri). Cherished Oma of Adam, Michelle, Andrew, Neil and Alex. Remembered by her sister Uschi and her brothers Reinhard and Ulrich. Predeceased by her mother Maria, father Alois, sister Elizabeth. Dorothea will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A teacher and founding member of "The Little Red Playhouse" in NDG and Montreal West, "Miss Dorothy" spend over 25 years dedicated to early education of pre-school children in this Co-op.

A Celebration of Dorothea's life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothea in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
