Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Bauer (1984). Dear mother of Michael and his wife Jill. Cherished Oma of Tobias, Trevor, Tyler and Alana. Remembered by her sister Uschi Kauder. Anita will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 146 Sligo Rd. W. Mount Forest, Ontario on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow reception at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Mono. Memorial donations to St. John's Lutheran Church, Mount Forest or purchase a flower and brighten somebody's day would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Anita in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
