MacIver, James Oliver (Jimmy Mac), passed away after complications from heart surgery at South Lake Regional Medical Center. Jim is survived by his loving wife Jean, and 3 children, Tracy Oldford (Dave Oldford), Steve MacIver and Ian MacIver (Amy Ornelas). Jim was adored by his 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Zachery, Grace, Lily and Nolan. Jim is also survived by his younger brother Robert MacIver and younger sister Mary-Lynn Benson.
Family and friends will be welcomed at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, ON for a visitation and celebration of Jim’s life on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
Family and friends are invited back to Ian MacIver’s house after the visitation to celebrate Jim’s life at 50 Meek Ave, Mono, ON
A Celebration of Life will take place in Baysville Ontario at a later date.
For those wishing to do so, please make donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of James in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
