Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Rosemary. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

I was just looking at the Percival Family Tree that I think Rosemary compiled and looked her up online, only to see that she died last July. I am the daughter of Edward and Catherine Percival. I don't know whether I ever actually met Rosemary, but I certainly had heard about her from Ed, who seemed to be quite fond of her and was glad that she had re-connected with him. He was also born in Port of Spain, in 1920, and he died in 2009 at the age of 89. My mother died the next year. They were living in Clarksburg Ontario, where Rosemary visited them on more than one occasion. Interesting that she was a tennis player...Ed and Kay also played tennis into their eighties.

I was updating the Family Tree with my nephew's daughters' and son's information and wondered whether anyone was keeping up the Family Tree at your end, or whether Rosemary had been keeping up with it. It's a very interesting document to have. I hope you will get this email and will have a chance to reply.

Our condolences on the death of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
Ann, Cathie and Ted Percival, Toronto

My condolences to the family of Rosemary Knox.
Just recently I got to know her during my volunteer job at Lord Dufferin Retirement residence when I assisted her when she held the painting workshops for the residents. I feel very thankful and very blessed for all the precious moments we shared. Her outlook on Life and sense of humour and especially her ability to teach and paint and bring out the artistic ability in her students I admire so much. Thanks Rosemary for being my mentor.
May you rest en peace
