Condolence From: Steven Hunt
Condolence: Ron was the best summer neighbour my parents, Lonce and Agnes, could have at their cabin in Bristol's Hope, Newfoundland. He was friendly, kind, loved nature and was extra generous with the cod he caught - my parents always very much appreciated that. I know how much he loved the landscape and seascape there. On behalf of my parents I would like to pass along our condolences to Debbie and his many family and friends. He will be missed.

Condolence: Many memories come to mind on and off duty with Ron. Great times at the firehall and being involved with his many renovation projects in the early eighties. An extremely
compassionate man Ron was always there when assistance was needed whether it was of a personal nature or work related.
A truly class act and a friend i had the pleasure of knowing
He will be truly missed

Condolence From: Mike MacDonald
Condolence: I have many fine and fun memories of Ron to sustain me in going forward. We had an excellent working relationship over many years and I count Ron as a good friend. I was fortunate enough to find access Ron's sense of humour and remember many good laughs we shared over the years.

Ron was ever the consummate gentleman. He was a good example for me in many ways and my working relationship with him is, and will remain, a highlight of my career.

Rest easy my friend.

Condolence: Ron was a true gentleman. I enjoyed my time working with him in North Command on C platoon, as he taught me the "ropes" of the Platoon Chief job! His soft spoken leadership approach was well respected.
Rest in Peace Brother!
