Condolence From: Susan Parkin
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Bob, Oleysa, and extended family. I have very fond memories of Barb from the years she taught at Tecumseth South. Always smiling and bringing happiness to others...without a doubt, she will be greatly missed. Praying that God will comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time, and in the days ahead bring healing to your hearts.

Condolence: I had the privilege of teaching with Barb when I started my career in the Science department at Emery CI in 1975. Barb was already a seasoned teacher with an exceptional rapport with her classes. Long before it became fashionable, her enthusiasm and dedication to nature and the environment had a lasting impact on her students and peers. Barb became a wonderful colleague, mentor and friend. My condolences to Bob and the family. She left us far too soon.

Condolence: I happily remember wonderful staff parties that Barb and Bob hosted on their big country yard. Barb was so good at getting friends together for celebrations. Many of us from Emery C.I. will always have those warm memories of enjoying really fun times at Barb's parties. Bob and Olesya, my thoughts of deep sympathy are with you at this time of sadness and change.

Condolence From: The Wong Family
Condolence: We are deeply saddened by the passing of our childhood friend, Barb. She was always smiling, always laughing, always loads of fun. The Wongs and The Hicks were two families of 10 kids (at the time) all under the age of 12...and we ruled the Queen St. West 'hood in the 50's. Our games were innocent ones - double dutch, playing yogi with rubber bands strung together, bouncing a rubber ball against the wall, touch tag - we had nothing much to play with, but we played from dawn to dusk with each other and, oh what fun we had! Barb will always be a part of our fondest memories from a very happy time many years ago. Our condolences to your family, Kathy, Dave, Fran, Carol, Rick and Mike
