Condolence From: Brenda Warder
Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting Joy at the medical centre in Orangeville where she treated me as a nurse practitioner. In this role she always demonstrated her knowledge, care and concern. But beyond that she related to you as an individual person with warmth and kindness and a wonderful sense of humour. Her positive attitude and zest for life was always evident and was very inspiring to others. She is truly missed and my life is blessed from having known her. Sincere sympathy to all of your family. Brenda and Owen Warder

Condolence From: Karen Goodwin
Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Joys passing. My very first job as a nurse practitioner I was blessed to have Joy mentor me. She was the person I called when ever I didn't know the answer. In the beginning I called her a lot, sometimes just because I was having a bad day. No matter how busy Joy was she always made time to take my call and listen. Listening was what Joy did best! She let me tell her all of the problems I was facing and then in her cheery Joy way she would tell me, you are fine, it will be ok now get back to work. To say Joy will be missed is inadequate! She was the best!
