Condolence: Thinking of all of you and sending our deepest condolences on the passing of my cousin Harold. I have very fond memories of Harold, Diane and family coming to Georgetown to visit with my parents, Oliver and Suzanne Carey. We were always in awe how organized and prepared they were with such a large family. My parents were very close to both Harold and his brother Bill. It was wonderful to reconnect as well in Calgary years later when I married. We enjoyed a great weekend at our home with Harold a few years ago and it was abundantly clear how proud he was of all his children and grandchildren. Sending you love and wish we could be there for what I am sure will be a wonderful memorial service in his memory.

Love, Brian & Betty

Condolence: Dearest Carey Family,

Please accept our deepest condolences from our family to yours. We Carey girls are saddened but grateful for the times we spent with Uncle Harold during our visits to Canada. Uncle Harold opened his home to us allowing beautiful, joyful & fond memories that we have reflected upon many times over the years.

Each of us kids swimming all day long while staying with you. Reminiscing over the similarities and differences between Canada and California while getting to spend the night in your dad & mums basement (that was a blast)! Family reunions at Granddad & Nana Carey’s place in Stouffville! Getting to see our dad (William O. Carey) interacting with his brothers, Gerald Foley and Harold Carey. Those moments were priceless and warm our hearts today when we think of them.

The cherished visits when Uncle Harrold and Aunt Diane came to California to see Dad and Mom. The times some of you kids were able to come spend time with us too. Even though there have been thousands of miles between us the memories of our early childhood are forever with us.

So, we hope you will understand, although these words are few, our sympathy is sincere. Our thoughts and prayers with each of you as the loss of Uncle Harrold are shared by many who knew and loved him.

Sending you all, much love and prayers during this time…

The Carey Girls - Mom Cecelia & Cousins Nancy, Janet & Heather Carey

Condolence: Dear Michael, Cindy, Christine, Nancy, Paul and families,
My thoughts are with you at the passing of Uncle Harold. I remember him visiting Dad when he was ill and Dad was always so happy to see him. I hold the memories of all of the family reunions, Christmases and summers at Grandad's house. All of the swimming in your backyard in Willowdale and visits to the house in Orangeville. Mostly, I just remember all of the laughter and I hope you can remember all of these times right now.
Take care and you are all in my thoughts.
Love cousin Debbie.

Condolence: We will always remember Harry as the ultimate MC, who did our 25th Anniversary and the ultimate entertainer as "Cookie and The Oreos" and "Super Shorty". He never ran out of interesting stories and was the ultimate philosopher, always helping to put things in perspective. Great golfer! Great curler! Greta friend!
