Obituary for Donald Hillock
Hillock, Donald (Retired Chief of Police - York Regional Police Service)
Peacefully at his home in Orangeville on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Joan Everson. Dear father of Pam Hillock and Todd Hillock (Cate). Cherished grandpa of Trevor, Kyle, Michael and Reese. Remembered by his siblings Bill, Norm, Jeannie, Audrey, Keith and Ruth. Don will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Cathy and the nurses of Saint Elizabeth for their special care.
A Celebration of Don's life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation, Orangeville would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Don in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
