This photo was taken at the wedding reception for my Aunt Doris and Uncle Terry in 1953. I was honoured to be their Flower Girl. The reception was at the Webb's cabin located on the Hockley Road. I remember so many special sleepovers at this cabin and at their first home on Bythia Street. I loved spending time with their dog, Blackie, but was quite untrusting of the black bear rug in front of the fireplace at the cabin. I adored, respected and admired my Aunt Doris. I was honoured to present her with my own bridal bouquet at my wedding in 1977. She will be missed but remembered with such loving thoughts .
