Suddenly at Headwaters Health Care Centre surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Paul Ferris and the late Wilfred French (1993). Dear mother of Nancy Reaume (John), Arlene Stevens and Eleanor French (Robert Porter). Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Jerrett, Logan, Molly, John, Sarah, Willis, Harris. Remembered by her great-grandchildren. Predeceased by Orland, Garnet and Arnold. Melissa will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Private Family Interment - Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to CNIB or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Melissa in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
