Medeiros, Maria Dos Prazeres (nee Laranja)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Jose Medeiros. Dear mother of Joe (Philomena), Luis (Karen), Luisa (Carlos), Maria (Sean) and the late Gabriel. Mother-in-law to Kelly. Also sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Toronto at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Maria in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
