Condolences

Condolence From: Tim Jacobson
Condolence: May God comfort Ruth Merkley's family and friends with the assurance that those who have partaken of the Living Bread, Jesus Christ, have his promise that they have eternal life (John 6:47-51). Tracy, you call her "Aunt Ruth." For me, she was also "Auntie Ruth." She was a colleague of my parents at Durame, Ethiopia over 50 years ago. Since my mother passed away less than two weeks ago, I wanted to get in touch with Auntie Ruth. I have been reading through my parents' correspondence and was reminded of the great commitment and effectiveness of Ruth in her role of teaching Ethiopian women. I would be happy to be in touch with the family through my email address. May Auntie Ruth's legacy be an inspiration to a new generation.

Condolence From: Tracy Coulter
Condolence: Hello everyone. Aunt Ruth's passing truly marks the end of an era for our family that has always been so rich and full of history. From the stories of siblings growing up in Milton to those of our Grandfather's mill, we were all just so lucky to have been a part of it all. Aunt Ruth just loved my Dad and took great joy in calling him her big brother. We were blessed to have had them with us for so many years. Bob, please know that we are thinking of you and your wife. I'm sure you will both miss her very much. With kind thoughts... Tracy, Chris and Michael Coulter
