A former resident of Erin & Orangeville. Betty passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Burton Manor, Brampton, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Armstrong (1990). She is survived by a loving and caring daughter, Arlene Oprea of Brampton. Predeceased by her parents, Jane (1958) and Samuel (1960) Longstreet. Sister of the late Mary Scott (1963), the late Beryl Teeter (1981) and the late Russell (1985). Betty was a member of St. Bartholomew's United Church, Brampton, an active card player at her condo and enjoyed several wonderful trips with her daughter.
Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Erin Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
