Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Catcher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Catcher, John B. WWII Veteran - Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Joyce Catcher. Loving father of Judy of Newmarket, Ron (Cathy) of Parry Sound, Steve (Dianne) of Orangeville, Glenn (Sonja) of Midland and Lori Kelly (Brian) of Texas. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie (George), Alexander (Lisa), Brandon (Bree), Kelsey (Jordan), Jamie, Jessica and Maggie. Dear brother of Christopher (Clauzine) Catcher of Priceville, Patricia James of Milton and brother-in-law of Gloria (Fred).
Jack will also be greatly missed by his special friends Judy McNutt and Kelly Lamont and all of his relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. (Legion service will be held at 7:30 pm.) Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 am.
Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 233 would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
