Condolence: I was very sad to hear about Betty. She came to Alloa as principal when I worked there. I remember Betty always having a smile, always showing encouragement to the staff and the kids and spending a lot of time communicating with parents. She was a great lady to work for. The original staff at Hewson Public School remember her fondly and still refer to the vision she had for everyone, staff and students alike. Condolence: Betty Jane has been a friend to me and my family since I was a kid. Betty wasn't much more than a kid then herself just starting her teaching career 45 years ago. She worked with my mother and moved into an apartment just down the street from us and was a regular house guest in those days. She was always so much fun to have around. It has been great having her and her family be a part of my life. Especially Liz, I remember when she was just a baby. I will bring mom up to the service tomorrow. My sincere condolences.
