Condolence: Thank you Wes... Fun, Family and Faith.

Condolence: Mr. Robertson was my music teacher in the early 90s at Hilltop Middle School. I found out about his passing from a classmate. He was such a great teacher. I still think of him fondly over a decade later. I will always remember his love of music. He taught us Beethoven, Chicago, and especially the Beatles, always with a good sense of humour and fun. He spoke often of his love of his family and God. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting his family, I want them to know that he touched the lives of many people. Many of my classmates have similarly great memories of him and his music class.

Wes was a great man and I will never forget having him as my grade 8 teacher at The Maples Independent Country School, he was so supportive of me and the rest of the family and always had a smile on his face! Condolence: Dear Georgina and girls. We just heard the news and are so deeply sorry. Although it's been a while since we have seen you both, I will always remember how much loved Wes loved music. I can still see him playing the guitar; also, umpiring for the church baseball games. There are no appropriate words, other than we care and pray God will sustain you at this most difficult time.

Condolence: I nicer man I have never met. His last day at Parkview I gave him a big hug and wished him a speedy recovery so he could teach me the bagpipes when I retired this June. Well I guess I will have to wait until we meet again for that lesson. Rest in peace my friend and my sincerest condolences to Georgina, Amy, Natalie and the extended family.

Condolence: You were a great inspiration to many fine young people. Because of you they will inspire the next generation, hopefully with as much passion for life as you had. Say hi to Keith for us.

Condolence: As a fellow band member I will miss Wes and hope that all of his family and friends will take some small comfort in the connection and impact he has had on so many lives. Please know that I have always had the deepest respect and admiration for Wes as an educator, a husband, a father, a grandfather and as a person.
