Condolence From: Chris Bird
Condolence: John, I will always remember you for the way you welcomed me openly into the Tuesday morning hockey in Bolton. Despite my younger age and "Eveready" moniker, you always seemed to have a way to pull a proverbial rabbit out of the hat, get a few goals every time you hit the ice and leaving me wondering what happened. We have lost a good man from this world, but you have left behind a legacy of memories that will not be forgotten. I was delighted to hear so many stories from your life today at your memorial service; I don't think I've ever laughed that much as a funeral. Karen, I'm sorry to have never met you, but I know that you will miss John, as me and so many others will too. He has been called to his next chapter. I can only hope that we will see him again and that I can leave half as much of a positive impact on people's lives as John did. God bless.
