It is with great sadness that the family of Donald announces his passing at the age of 74 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Joan Baker (2014); loving father to Donnie Luxton, Deanna Luxton (Dave Zammit), Lori Haywood (Frank) and Sheryl Sheffield; predeceased by his daughter Donna Marie; dear Boppie of Donna, Donnie, Stephanie, Steven, Tyler, Riley, Adam, Claire, Quinn, Kobe and Ava; remembered by his sisters Helen Brightling (John) and Marian Luxton. Don will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville (519-941-1392) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time.
Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Parkinson Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Donald in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. (Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com)
