Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob at Caledon Detachment in the early 90's. I was a brand new rookie and Bob was a veteran with an imposing figure. He was a gentle giant and will be missed very much. On a lighter note, I was always amazed to see how big Bob fit into his Chevy Chevette as I used to have a Pontiac Acadian in those days. Bob was a great man. Rest in Peace VVRD #3033.

I had the pleasure to work with Bob both in his formal responsibilites with the OPP, and with him in many community initiatives, while I was Mayor of Caledon. Bob was always good humoured, generous with his efforts on others behalf, and a pleasure to work with. I know that he was always dedicated to serving people and his efforts were much appreciated and respected. Our paths crossed on occasion before, during and after our policing careers and I will always remember Bob was one of the "Good Guys". Please accept my deepest sympathies.
