It is with great sadness that the family of Shawn Berger announce his passing in Squamish B.C. on February 14, 2013 in his 43rd year; loving son of Murray and Karina; dear brother of Brent and his wife Michelle; cherished uncle of Joshua and Brenden; beloved grandson of Frederick and Jansje Mulder; sadly missed by his other relatives, especially his best friend Diane, his special buddy Adam and his many friends in B.C. .
A Celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Orangeville & District OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Shawn in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th, 2013 at 2:30 p.m.
