MARTIN, Ruth Isabella May

Peacefully at the Avalon Retirement Centre, Orangeville on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Ruth Isabella Edgerton in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Burke. Loving mother of Eric and his wife Wendy, Lloyd and his wife Melanee, Bruce and his wife Sharron and Ann Thompson and her husband Mark. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Angela), Kelly (Shawn), Christopher (Monica), Shawn (Karene), (Lisa 1979), Kameron, Brian (Heather), Gary, Jennifer, Jeremy (Rachael) and Stacey (Mike). Dear great-grandmother of Thalia, Tyler and Laila. Remembered by her sisters Jean, Myrtle, Elsie, Barbara and her brother Roy and John (1956).
Ruth will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation

The family will receive their friends at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel 21 First St., Orangeville (519-941-1392) on Friday, May 16th, 2008 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Service

Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.

Memorial donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the charity of your choice.

A tree will be planted in memory of Ruth in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.

A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2008 at 2:30 p.m.
