EASTAUGH, W. J. (Jack)
In his 92nd
year, on Thursday, August 18th, 2005, Jack died suddenly
at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. He is
survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth, his daughters
Candace (David Steele) and Jennifer (Bob Gray) and his
much loved grandsons, Robin and Nick Steele and Drew Gray.
Jack lived a creative and rewarding life, drawing on his
experiences in the R.C.A.F., the Ontario Department of
Corrections, as an elementary and secondary principal
in the Etobicoke system, and especially in his over fifty
year association with the Taylor Statten Camps in Algonquin
Park.
Mourn ye not for my departure,
Mourn ye not,
I go upon a journey…
My journey is eternal.
