APREDA, Giovanna (Born October 8, 1921 in Pietrafitta, Settefrati, Frosinone, Italy)

Passed away peacefully of multiple myeloma at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, May 30, 2008. Giovanna Colarossi in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Antonio Apreda – Married May 2, 1958. Loving mother of Josie Hull and her husband Brian, Mike, Tony, and John and his wife Shelley Insco. Predeceased by her parents Giacinto & Bernardelli (Palma) Colarossi. Predeceased by her sisters Loreta Colarossi, Angela (Angelina) Colarossi, Anella Marchelletta and her brother Domenico Colarossi. Giovanna will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call at the Dods and McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville (519) 941-1392 on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Service

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville on Wednesday June 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville -Corner of Broadway (Hwy #9w.) and County Rd. 16 (Veterans Way).

Reception to follow at the Dods & McNair Reception Centre.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Giovanna in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.

A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2008

at 2:30 p.m.
